Originally from Canada, Jared’s educational journey led him to the distinguished St. John’s Ravenscourt School in Winnipeg, Manitoba, before relocating to Kansas City at the age of sixteen and attending Blue Valley North. Following his high school graduation, Jared enrolled at Johnson County Community College (JCCC), from there he embarked on a transformative month-long trip to Brazil, gaining valuable life experiences.

Jared subsequently continued his academic pursuits at the University of Kansas, where he achieved notable milestones, including recognition on the KU Honor Roll and participation in the Truancy Internship within the KU Truancy Prevention & Diversion Program. His active engagement extended beyond academics, as he contributed to various campus organizations, including the KU Investment Club, Habitat for Humanity, Harvester’s Program, and the KU Garden Club. Despite initially pursuing a business degree, Jared’s commitment to becoming a well-rounded student led him to switch his major to Applied Behavioral Science, complemented by a minor in business and psychology.

It was during the challenges brought about by the global pandemic in 2020 that Jared developed a keen interest in the field of law. Demonstrating resilience and determination, he successfully completed his studies at KU and embarked on a search for a role that would allow him to integrate his diverse skill set. Through personal connections, Jared was introduced to our firm by Luke Whitworth, who presented the legal profession as an appealing avenue for Jared’s talents. For the past several year, Jared has been an integral and valued member of our firm. His exemplary intrapersonal skills and effective communication have significantly contributed to our collective success. We are privileged to have Jared on our team and look forward to witnessing his continued growth and contributions to our dynamic legal practice.
